About the Author
Matt Morris is a life coach and an author. He is passionate about using events that have happened in his life to inspire and make a positive impact in the lives of others. Topics in his books include: Positivity, Living In the Present Moment, and goal setting – all of which he has used to completely transform his life.
A few of his life experiences include:
- Being in a plane crash at the age of 10 that killed his mother and left him in a coma for 1 month
- Having severe back problems as a teenager and instead of having surgery (as Dr.’s recommended), he healed himself with the power of the mind and exercise
- Getting over his fear of being judged as “different” and transforming into “one of the most socially-savvy people in the room” by focusing on his strengths instead of his weaknesses.
- Losing his father at the age of 30 and being able to cope with this reality
Despite all this, Matt is known for his optimistic attitude and keen ability to find the good out of every situation, despite how traumatic the event may seem.
Throughout his books, he goes into much more detail about how he’s used each of these events to improve his life and make him a stronger person. He is on a mission to change the attitudes and pre-conceived negative beliefs of the world in order to make it a better place. He firmly believes that everything happens for a reason.
In his free time, Matt loves to read books based on self-improvement, psychology, marketing, health, fitness, and learning about various cultures.

5.0 out of 5 starsBeautiful Self-Help Book For Those Who Want To Live In The Now ~ Review by Dawn Dolly Webb TOP 500 REVIEWER – Any book that can help me expand my mind and live in a more spiritually healthy way is something I avidly dig into. When I saw this book and read the title and synopsis, it seemed to fit ideally into that genre. I went into this book with an open mind. Having read many other similar books I was kind of worried that this book wouldn’t bring up anything new or different. With that being said, I was pleasantly surprised. This book didn’t follow a lot of the stereotypical things written in other books, and I feel like I walked away with this read with a lot more than I had going into it.
This book has one goal: help its readers overcome issues regarding their past and move onto a brighter and better future by focusing on the beauty of the present. It’s a beautiful concept, but one that’s hard to follow without any kind of guidance. And that’s where this book comes into play. This book does an exquisite job of showing you, as the reader, how you can focus on the present in a very positive way. It lists out tools and techniques you can use to get past the past and move onto a wonderful future. It’s inspiring, refreshing, and absolutely motivational.
The book was well-written, well-organized, and easy to read. The ideas listed within the book are things that anyone can follow. No matter where you are in your life, what struggles you may be facing, your age, your relationship status, your career path- you can follow this book’s guidance. It was written for everyone, and it will certainly appeal to the masses. There is no religious undertone, just mere spiritual fulfillment behind it.
The book brings up a lot of beautiful concepts including not worrying about the future and forgiving yourself and people around you– allowing yourself to move on with things in a more healthy mindset. Forgiveness has never been something I’ve had trouble with, but even so this book really opened my eyes to the ways in which I forgive people, and how I can do it with a more positive path in mind for myself. Not worrying about the future is something I’ve definitely struggled with, and one of the best things I took away from this book was an idea that I will be fine. I feel so much more at peace now- I’m not nearly as anxious about things as I once was, and I know that’s because this book not only inspired me to think different, but completely changed the way I looked at my life. It was a fantastic self-help book, written for everyone, and worth reading for anyone.
