I never realized that was my pattern until I read Food Addicts, and recognized that I had been putting all my shame onto myself, and blaming eating and food. It was all so mixed up in my psyche, I had to start unravelling the threads. It’s been a long road toward recovery from my unhealthy relationship to my body, but at least I have stopped bingeing, and now recognize when I eat for emotional reasons. Also, I’m working on loving myself more. ~ Review by Alex C.
