Do we really need to Photoshop pictures?

A friend of mine posted a You Tube video on Facebook about how all the celebrities are getting their photo’s cleaned up. Weight and years are taken off of their looks. The thing is, when they appear live for an interview on TV, then what? Is that tampered with also if it isn’t a live show? I wouldn’t be surprised if it was.

This topic rattles me somewhat as I think it the message is being sent strong and clear that people are not okay with the way they naturally look. That is not a message I want to hear, nor do I want my children not feeling like they measure up to something they can’t possibly measure up to in the first place.

I like wrinkles and smile lines and a healthy amount of fat on a person. We are all individual and we are all just ducky in our own ways. Let us be kind to one another and appreciative of how we are all unique and beautiful. There is not one standard to live up to as Hollywood and it’s cohorts are perpetuating. Lets think of ways we can change this paradigm right now. I want the ducks in my pond to love themselves just as they are yet strive to be the best person they can be naturally, not fake.

This is the year of truth. The truth comes out as we just saw with Arnold Schwarzenegger and his child with another woman while married to Maria Shriver. I will not say illegitimate as if you look up what that word means you will find erratic, illogical and illegal. I do not think any child born into this world are any of those things. Back to the truth. This is a 4 vibration year and that is when the truth comes out about things. So perhaps people will insist on being shown the truth and that includes seeing what people really look like. Bye Bye Photoshop.
